Huh... after rushing back from Kuang (where the Edaran Endurance Classic 2005 was held), I was on time for the event... started shooting at the bride's hse during her preparation... then, off to the groom's waiting hse... had a quick fag session with him...  then, the shooting begun... 
After Zohor azan, they're off to the parade!!! I would called it parade since it's the 1st time I got a client who used the 'TANDU' for the parade (as well as he was backed by a 30 person team of Silat!!)... The event went on smoothly... having a Silat team performing with additional dual  , the day couldn't be more perfect... right... here're the photos...

Well, it's a bit late for me to send the photos... but, anyway... here we go... 
Last week, nope, actually, the week before, I was having my friend's akad nikah and wedding... but also, at the same time, having the Edaran Endurance Classic at the same time under Mr Ted Adnan (www.tedadnan.com) ... Luckily the two events didn't clash...
Well, on Friday was the Akad Nikah day... Early in the morning in Cheras, actually kindda near to my hse... At about 10 a.m., the groom arrived and ready for the akad nikah session at the Surau nearby the hse (just at the corner...  ) The session went on smoothly... I was hoping that PC (that's what I call Azhar) stumbled during the akad nikah and has to do it couple of times... but unfortunately, he took the akad with only one try!! (maybe that's due to the intensive practise he had for a month just remembering the akad by heart!!)... anyway, the Tok Kadi was kinda sporting... he cracked out many jokes during the session... after that, we had lunch, and then had a quick photography session.... here they are...

Well, a week after the Johore function... it was time for the groom's side of the event... Eastin hotel was a lovely venue... I haven't shoot there before... so, it's always a good experience to get a function in a new place... this function was covered by 2 photographer (yours truly & mr Jaggat aka http://jaggat.fotopages.com/) and 1 videographer...
We're suppose to have another portrait shoot in the afternoon, but due to certain circumstances, it was cancelled... but, non the less, there's still couple of thousand pictures they're gonna get... I arrived there at about 6 pm.... didn't manage to get my dinner, coz have to shoot the preparation of the bride... After than the function finished, only we got our penultimate reward... Our Dinner... thanks to Hussein & Nasha & also Eastin for arranging the dinner for us... it was lovely... Congrats to Hussein & Nasha... Nice working with both of you...

Well... having two jobs this weekend, wedding on friday morning, event shoot in the afternoon, after prayer... then, whole day of event shoot (I really mean whole day, from 8 am till 12 am) on Saturday... early morning event shoot on Sunday... from 6 till 11... then, wedding in the afternoon... huh, really a challenge to the body... like an endurance test but as a photographer... I'll like to apologize for not updating the other part of this wedding... (which was held last fortnight...)
Ahem...  So, here's the part of the wedding that was being held in the Jubli Intan Hall in JB... and, as you might not know, the Sultan of Johore attended the wedding... with the royalties... the hall was a medium sized... but, the ceiling was quite high...
The procedure of the event went on smoothly... execpt the delay of arrival of the Sultan... but, soon after he arrived, the event went smoothly... All the royalties 'tepung tawared' Hussein & Nasha... I would say it's been an honour to be able to capture an event with a presents of a Sultan... Enjoy the pics...

Hussein & Nasha's Outdoor Portraiture...

Well... Like normal, I would suggest my clients to do an outdoor portrait ... not that I don't prefer studio shoot (like the usual malay wedding photographs...), I found it more attracting shooting outdoors... maybe coz the setting up the lights and such... Ever since last December, when I 1st did my outdoor portraiture in FRIM, I've always interested in doing this task... FYI, I work in Armadale Bespoke Photography, a wedding photography company in Bukit Damansara... this is how it all started... 
Since it's my own client (unlike the normal through the company clients... ), I get to do it in my own time ... or not, there will be a time constrain which kinda limits the shooting to a certain extent... but, normal lah, the weather, heat & such also play an important role...
I would say, shooting Hussein & Nasha was easy.... they know what to do, and also easy for me to pass the info of what kind of pics that I've been looking for... after a 2 and a half hours session, we wrapped it... these are the products...

As promised in my late http://hantu.fotopages.com/ & http://rambo.fotopages.com/, I'm updating last week's wedding 1st... then, will be the rest... sorry for the delay... (busy sikit last weekend...)
What a memorable date for a memorable day for the couple... Hussein & Nasha were officially declared with a vow (akad... he did it in his 1st trial...)... well, apparently, before the event, torrential rain hit JB!! Is it a sign?? hmmmm... not quite sure... so, most of my photos are taken in the mosque... (no outdoor shoot... )
As for me, the pleasure to shooting an akad nikah funcion in a mosque is all mine... considering there's no VIPs, I'm free to move about in the mosque as if I'm the official photog...  no more yup yup, yup yup yup yup... here's the pics... (I've got the watermarks on!! )
